The vintage Speedway “79” gasoline pump glass globe is a rare, valuable find. It is made of white glass, and is a rounded globe with two circles connected together. Outlined by the wide border, the top half of the circle has a blue background with the word “speedway” in white text. The bottom half has a red background with the number “’79′” in white text. The base is a rounded circle to fit over top of a light or on top of an antique gasoline pump.
