This antique box is designed to hold a variety of spool cotton, thread, and sewing accouterments. The box has shallow drawers with metal drawer pulls. There are nine drawers, each with a label. The top two drawers read “Chadwick’s / Spool Cotton.” The remaining drawers are labeled: “Six Cord,” “Whites,” “Browns,” “Blacks,” “Colors,” “Buttons,” and “Needles.”
